Somatic Coaching

What is it ?

Somatic coaching is a holistic approach that integrates the body and mind to promote deep personal transformation. It is particularly aimed at individuals seeking clarity and alignment, including young professionals in retraining, freelancers and neurodivergents and generally anyone seeking meaning and a positive impact on the world.

Somatic coaching considers the individual as a whole, where the body and mind are in constant interaction. This method goes beyond simple conversation by involving the entire body, allowing access to deep structures often inaccessible by the mind alone. In English, we speak of "bodymind" to describe this synergy between the body and the mind.

It is not

- Therapy: although it can be therapeutic, somatic coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy, firstly because the main focus is to link the person's present state to their desired state (main objective, or "deep desire").

- A simple conversation: It involves active participation of the body in the moment and its long-term practice allows one to experience states of consciousness that include the entire system, not just the mind.

- An esoteric approach: Based on concrete and scientifically sound principles, it does not fall under mysticism.

Somatic coaching is for you if

- you are a young (or not that young) active individual in a career change and you are looking to align your professional practice with your deep values. Somatic coaching can really take you further and allow you to feel your axis "in your gut", and no longer just know the concept.

- you are a freelancer looking for clear direction and organization: if you are self-employed and struggling against your own functioning to succeed and achieve fulfillment in your project, somatic coaching is a practice that can bring you the calm and clarity you are looking for.

- you are a neuro-spicy person. Self-diagnosed (AuDHD*) through my readings, conversations with neurodiv friends, listening to specialized conferences and podcasts, myself in the process of a neuropsy assessment with a professional, I have been passionate about neurodiversity for several years. The tools of somatic coaching are the most effective that I have practiced so far for:

- feeling more and more connected to my entire body system
- regulate my emotional states

- navigate with kindness my waves of dispersion and procrastination
- feel real progress towards what I want to accomplish in a world created for other types of brains

This probably isn't for you if:

- You are looking for a therapist. Therapy is mainly interested in your past to understand why and how you live as you do today, and to allow you to resolve certain traumas. It makes room for what you want to be. Coaching starts from what you are to take you where you want to go after clarifying it. If it is necessary to take a detour through your past, it is possible, but not systematic.

- You want operational solutions to specific professional problems. For that, I invite you to look for a mentor who has been through what you are going through and can give you step-by-step professional advice on the best ways to solve something specific. In coaching, it is the coachee who leads the session with what is present for her/him, and the coach accompanies to reveal what she/he cannot perceive alone.

- You want results with a minimum of commitment on your part. Being coached is a commitment to yourself and the coach is there to support this commitment towards structural change.

Who am I?

I am Clément, and my true call is to support people in search of alignment, anchoring and transformation. My journey is the result of a constant exploration between humanities, creativity, and societal impact.

 

After training in History and Sociology, then in architecture with a specialization in sustainable construction strategy, I contributed to ambitious projects combining innovation and ecological awareness. One of the most significant was the co-creation of a big project for the innovative french company ( meïsō ): the largest flotation and introspection center in France. This project reinforced my conviction that individual and collective well-being comes through an authentic connection to oneself.

 

As a somatic coach and transformational breathwork facilitator, I combine body practices and a holistic approach to help you embody your deepest aspirations. My role is to guide you towards a congruence between your desires, your values, and your actions, in order to build a life that fully resembles you.

 

I speak to those who feel the call to a more aligned life, whether it is to reinvent their trajectory or find the resources to embody their vision.

Comment se passe une session ?

Ce coaching se pratique sous forme de séances indviduelle de 1h à 2h, en ligne sur Zoom ou en présentiel à Paris (je travaille actuellement avec les centres ( meïsō ), à Paris 10e et Paris 13e  

 

Le coaching somatique est plus efficace et durable en travaillant régulièrement sur une période définie à l'avance. Selon mon expérience, un cycle de trois mois à raison d'un minimum d'1 session/15 jours et d'un maximum d'1 session/semaine (soit entre 6 et 12 séances) est idéal pour sentir des changements structurels s'ancrer véritablement.​

 

Pour autant, chaque personne est unique et je m'adapte aux besoins identifiés ensemble au départ autant que possible.
